I'm excited this got a manga! I read quite a bit of the fan TL and this is not a fluffy story. Makes me wonder if this was a r18+ otome game in the vibes of jouubachi because of how edgy some of the stuff that happens is. Wonder if the adaptation will tone it all down...but the fun part was just seeing him be evil, though it can be...a bit much.

That Sigurd and Jorga moment was pretty obvious in the novel narration too but actually seeing them stand next to each other is something else lol.

Thank you very much for working on this series, I really enjoy political intrigue like this, especially with a splash of BL. However, I feel compelled to ask that you prioritize legibility over a stylized font, and therefore select a more standard font if possible. I don't like to nitpick since you are sharing it for free, but at the same time, I think it'd be a worthwhile change that isn't too inconvenient to implement.

I’m totally open to feedback from the readers. This is all still new for me, on the translator side. I’ve been reading scanlations for over a decade so at this point everything gets autocorrected in my brain. Haha. Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to use Adobe so I use MS Paint. The font I used for this is similar to Times New Roman. I try to use clean, capitalized, and large fonts for people to read. If you have any font suggestions from Paint, I’d love to try them out. 😊

Seems like the person was asking for a sans serif font or gothic type font, like Arial, or Franklin Gothic Book. Times New Roman like fonts are have lil dangly bits on the letters which aren't great in smaller sizes/screens.

Unsure if Paint can use downloaded fonts but if you need a program, Krita is free.

It's a console game, so it's not. Probably 17+ at most(consoles are "no porn" zone). Meanwhile Jooubachi was a PC game, so it haturally had lots of sex and unsavory themes.

I didn't mean r18 in terms of on screen sex but more like the world setting being dark but in a hentai/smut-logic way. Like people getting into danger but always in a 'might get sold to a brothel' or tentacle monster way and not a 'gimme your cash' or y'know normal monsters way, lol.

Console games can have unsavory themes tho?Virche Evermore is an otome game that is M in NA and Cero D in JP and one review had a trigger warning for blood, cults, dismemberment, human experimentation, human trafficking, etc. Drakengard had a cannibal that only ate children and a pedophile as your party members. A recent Yakuza game had a full cg cutscene where human prisoners/slaves were being whipped as they pulled a cart on all fours.

I reread the beginning and there is a panel showing the original otome game as Cero D aka M, whereas the standard fluffy otome games are typically T in NA or Cero C in JP, which does explain all the stuff that happens later, lol. Unsure if the manga will...show it all though.
