This was honestly really good. I guess clicking random under the manga tab can at times lead to hidden gems.

This was really good! Looking forward to more.
Aoto was so annoying. >_> And I'd be hella pissed about losing out on an A because the police tried to frame me. I hope his professor cuts him some slack.

This is better than usual Japanese detective story that I read.

wouldn't the fact that he claimed to have made curry and that his landlord smelled it count as a flimsy alibi ? as flimsy as them saying a witness saw him in the dark ?

Lmao "I don't want to hear that from people who tried to frame me." is a great line.

And for anyone confused: police work in japan is incredibly corrupt. It is incredibly common for police to arrest and ultimately convict people on flimsy evidence, because "being suspected by a policeman" is functionally enough. I think thats being underlined here by the cop being overwhelmed and stabbing the rich kid- in his mind 'i THINK he did it' equals 'so he's guilty'.

Also the bit about weed in the closet is funny as hell.

Knowing Totonou, he probably convinced his professor to give him an A anyway lol

Ok I like it already. Also feel bad for the rich kid who got stabbed when he didn't even do anything wrong. I was thinking what if the MC was a secret mastermind or something that arranged everything or something?

Oh what a wild ride. Have some similar thoughts with the MC but never put it in a crime perspective. Love it
