idk if it's "cliché" or "trope"/etc, but the:
"ohhh, the X from 300 years ago had that name" is super annoying.. in this case you're the mayor or whatever and you've never heard anyone else with that name... There's no reason to have that unless it's a crazy name... or even if it was what's the point in general... if someone was born with "dracula" or "hit*er" as their name, anyone that says "ohh, that's the name from X ago" is gonna be called stupid.
