Oh Doppel-san, you actually were pretty mischivious in this chapter. You knew that Hattori was scared of horror, so you took advantage and scared her! Yamamoto was set to save the day, but a bug scared him into submission.

It's actually quite funny that it took them 2 hours to clean up the former occult room. I guess they were just paralyzed for a bit. Doppel-san almost caused another set of hijinks by putting Yamamoto's head on Hattori's lap, but it's a good thing Yamamoto woke up before Hattori did and prevented any misunderstandings.

Sorry to break it to You, but
Yeah, it's too bad this has only 31 chapters. All of them are great, too. I get the impression that the manga wasn't too popular because about halfway through they stopped releasing it in magazines and releasing it exclusively online.

No spoilers but I think the ending at least was handled properly. It'll be a while before I get there lol.

Huh, so she can interact with the real world, and so far is only invisible to Hattori (we haven't gotten confirmation other people can see her).

So it's an unconscious manifestation of psychic abilities? Because a real doppelganger is supposed to kill you as soon as you meet each other, and if it was some other supernatural being it'd be weird if she looked like Hattori and capable of reading her mind, yet only decided to do something about her desires now.

I know I thinking about it too hard, but I like doing thinking exercises.

It's just a doppelganger that likes doing other stuff instead. This one gets her jollies by making real-life rom-coms
True, I forgot monmusu also did away with doppelgangers necessarily being an instant death, be it by them being compulsed to kill the "original" or world mechanics making it so two instances of the same being meeting each other immediately causing both to disappear.

Fun fact: House centipedes are completely harmless, passive, skittish, and they eat house pests! They're also very, very fast. Just gently shoo these nocturnal hunters away if you encounter them!
