yeah that one that involves a an almost failed sting operation into an illegal drug trafficking and production ring run by the head nurse as a key element of the narrative as well as cycles of abuse and trauma(to a degree) as the protagonist gets mentally stronger over time throughout his hardships. There's also a fight with Mako at the end in true shounen-esque fashion. The source material is rather obscure to Anglophones compared to its adaptations(VN, adult manga, all ages manga, anime, live action). I put constraints of having seen the full storyline since people who don't know the ending have an incomplete picture and can spout misinformation.
