*sigh* I was hoping there would be at least a basic level of realism to how this manga handles slavery since it focuses on it, but apparently not. In addition to the secretive slave market making no sense(if slavery is legal), there's the ridiculous prices for female slaves vs. more useful economic slaves(modern sex slaves are more expensive than normal slaves, but that's because slavery is illegal, so economic use of slave labour is not possible. So if slavery were legal, skilled and hardy slaves would be more valuable than unskilled sex slaves) and social attitudes that make no sense since slave owners would be far richer and thus more influentsal than non-slave-owners(if slavery is legal). Heck, is slavery actually legal in this setting? The manga said it is, but it makes no sense if it is. It doesn't seem like it will explore the morality of slavery in an interesting way either. So, this will be just another piece of garbage fetishizing slavery?
