Might have to do with her "future eye" (from when Daisy was huffing the horn stuff and the doc kept increasing doses). Maybe as a magic eye glass it interferes with her eye's magical powers?

She has a ridiculous amount of magic and the glasses let you see magic, so they probably were probably blinding her because they were visualizing her magic aura.
Also they just overloaded because of the amount of magic she was making them visualize.
