Was the demon possessing Bandai from her own greed like monk said, or her father's greed? Seemed like she was unselfish and virtuous before getting possessed and seems more likely demon attracted due to father's greed which was why kept him alive as a convenient large source of food. What's with the blindfold, thought the demon possessing Bandai had his left leg not the eyes? Don't get question about the kimono. Was it because of the style or seemed off for time of year, or something else? Villagers sure showed themselves to be lazy ingrates. Couldn't do anything about the demon plaguing them for years yet not afraid to run out their savior because know he won't attack them. As for not wanting to know truth about Bandai is severe stupidity. Village was in bad shape because of her and every time things looked up due to her 'help' she'd initiate another disaster. Is it really that much effort for them to think for themselves and build the future with their own hands?
