My own impression is that while the original relationship was entirely non-consensual, an amusing wrinkle occurred - Elysia turned out to be a lesbian masochist.

Getting brutally dominated by a hot wolfgirl turned out to be exactly what she wanted, even if ever admitting that would feel like an act of insanity.

And she never did admit it, so Rachel has no idea that Elysia was into it. Leaving Rachel incredibly confused that Elysia wants to pick up where they left off.

It'd be funny in a really mean way if Rachel was straight and the whole thing really was transactional to her, but I assume that's not where this story is going.

Yeah, but the other guy didn't say there was neither. As he said so himself, It was a question, not an affirmation. But, istead of just understanding that and dropping It, Uden had to act like the usual asshole and getting defensive. Maybe he should just chill out instead of showing an agressive side I'm sure he'll never show in the real world.

Well yeah he didn't literally say that it was a retcon for certain, but he did bring up the possibility even though it seems pretty clear that we just don't have a lot of information right now about their relationship. It's kinda weird to assume there are retcons 10 chapters into the manga. Maybe Uden did get over defensive but some people are just argumentative. I am too, it doesn't make you an asshole and it doesn't necessarily make you aggressive. (Especially when what you're saying isn't exactly wrong in the first place) Sometimes people just have more to say and they feel more free to say those things on the Internet. Most of the time it's horrible things that aren't socially acceptable in real life but sometimes it's just a bit hard to express your thoughts irl. More anxiety involved idk. People are complicated.

Even if one side doesn't want to argue or debate and he keeps talking they can just let him keep talking. They don't have to engage, and you're imagining aggression and frustration behind the screen when that's likely just not the case at all. Our opinions, observations, whatever, are equal. Ignoring the actual facts of the matter, when it comes to what we believe based off of the limited information that's incredibly subject to interpretation that we have available, the best we can do is literally to just think what we think. You could be right and this guy could easily be fuming behind his monitor 24/7, there's a chance of that. I don't think he is and I don't see why you believe that. I'm not claiming that my opinion is more or less valid than yours, because opinions can't be deemed valid without the truth being known. So all we can actually do is believe what we believe. I think you read my explanation of this and somehow thought I was saying it didn't apply to me or something, but that's not what I'm saying. My opinion isn't valid either, I'm also just saying what I think, same as you are. That's 90% of arguments that have ever happened. You can't validly or accurately critique someone for saying "No I think I'm right and you're wrong because I am" unless there's concrete information available. But that's all anyone can ever do without concrete information, so we do it. I honestly think I stopped arguing and starting being philosophical a while ago.
