The same way we saw a farm of animal hybrids who believe being eaten was a good thing in the 2nd volume. Thanks for the chapter!
If there are towns like this where all the humans are enslaved then i don't understand how at the end of volume 1 it showed that the elites were a mix of humans and animal-humans. lol
Seriously, if this were a post-apocalyptic world where the animals humans were created to fight in a war and then rebelled against the pure humans, then it would make more sense. Instead, the humans in power just decide to promote the animal humans into positions of power, kill and farm their own race for no benefits. So how did this many animal people get made again? It went from "one was made in a lab" to "ruling all of society with an iron fist" in less than a single generation. Did that company have a casual 100 trillion dollars to dump into making endless hybrids? Then they elected their lab experiments to executive positions and renounced firearms worldwide? This series would be better if the backstory was never explained
