Main gripe…. Why don’t most of the mc’s, nowadays, unsheathe their damn weapons before the fight???!? If you ain’t doing some weird complicatedly stupid western over the shoulder iai jutsu draw attack, draw your weapon before the fight! It gives off the yucky feeling of those 18 bit style generic game stories where the enemy boss monologues and powers up for an hour before the battle in front of the heroes and they all just let him. Like dude, just sneak attack and bonk his ass to death ya decrepit donkeys. -_-

More complaints: Back scabbards don't work if you're planning on having to draw your sword at a moment's notice. In the first place, why the fuck is he hunting with a sword? You don't hunt animals with swords, that just isn't done, you hunt them with spears and bows. Swords are a sidearm meant solely for fighting other humans. I dislike the master's character design. If she's a legendary battle-harded warrior, where the fuck are her muscles? Why does she behave like a klutzy teenage girl?
