I feel like Agnes's character withered away... At the beginning she was brash and unapologetic, at the end, she deferred to her husband to ensure his feelings weren't hurt so she made herself less outlandish. Just my take, but I would have loved for her to have been herself fully and be loved for it fully, as is. I know that relationships require compromise and self-growth, but I feel like this went in the wrong direction from what I would have wanted to see.
