Thank you for the chapter!

Really starting to get into the muck of the complexities of the USSR now, excellent. Can't wait to see this play out in the larger context of the War and the struggles of the cast!

I hope the training arc isn't too long, I wanna get in on the action

Well, less than a decade before the war, a terrible famine caused either willfully or through bad policies wrecked Ukraine, and there was a significant German collaborationist movement / pro-independence partisans in Ukraine during the war. So the relationship was really complicated, though worth noting that Stalin's successor, Khruschev, was a Ukrainian himself.

I'm loving the work you've all done on this, the explanations about terms and recommendations are very well made, it's been a while since I've read a work that needs them this much but they don't mess with the reading flow at all. The typesetting is also really polished, I love the different stylistic choices :)

She finally cried :'( Thank goodness the squads here are welcoming her.

Thanks a lot for the update! Also, your notes are very helpful!
