Last time I asked, I was told to just download from sad panda. With said panda now officially dead (and its parent site following soon), this is obviously no longer a viable option.

Of course, I'm not asking for all comics to be downloadable; that would just invite all sorts of manga-aggregator-bots to just rip chapters from here. Limiting downloads to only H content would be enough.
In the event that MangaDex ever goes down like Batoto and sad panda did, the comics I like might already be officially licensed in my region, so I'd just buy them then. On the other hand, hentai will likely never be official over here (and most other parts of the world), so archival is all the more important.

To reduce abuse, downloads could be limited to registered users, have a daily download limit, or even be tied to a credit system akin to what sad panda used to have.

@Nolonar Downloads aren't going to be here for a while. We aren't going to enable them strictly for H because that leads to people marking things as H for the luls just to download the chapters from it.

There are dozens of scripts out there that let people download from MD :x
If you want to download from us, just don't get banned by the rate-limit in the process.
