Compared to the current weekly shounen jump line up, Dragon Ball is still stands out as the one of the best Jump manga of all time.

This was a fun ride from beginning to end, although I think the series peaked with the Piccolo Daimaou and Piccolo Jr. arcs with the Majin Buu arc being the weakest. I can see how this impacted a lot of shounen series after it, especially battle-shounen. Can't believe it took me this long to read this. Maybe I'll watch the anime soon once those restoration groups like the official French Blu-Rays releases are done with it.
