It's simply the symbol of having a knight commander, and elf mommy is probably both well traveled and worldly experienced given she's of a long lived race to understand how much of an impact that symbol carries. Story also started with only our MC going on investigation to secure the area of monsters, for the royal family at that, so it's not as though her strength is completely unknown. I do think there should of been more world building to set the stage for this as it felt rushed. We are pretty clearly missing something because I don't think Lienna has appeared strong enough to warrant another nation holding off on invading. Lienna's own recollection is that she never fought on the frontline so either she's lying to us the reader for no particular reason or she did something casually that instilled fear in the other nations.
Even more troublesome when you consider the regular citizens likely have no idea she was being abused at her workplace like that. They weren't complicit in it, as far as we know. And yet they're the ones taking the brunt the hardest.I'm torn. on one hand the tail attack was kinda cool, on the other hand it would suck to see the nation ruined, then again they abused the heck outta the knight commander so its karma, but in counter to that elf-san isnt wrong, that would make a pretty good bit of propaganda...
how many hands am I at? I dunno which side of this fight I am supposed to cheer for lmao
MC country, by the end of the series she tames the dragon, fights the invaders off,the country thanks her, gives her the highstest honorary title and the King asks her "what are you gonna do now?" -"Well... i am taking some Days off in the Dragon's Stomach" fade to black and a picture of her and dragon buddy (or husband I'll take either) in the future THE ENDI'm torn. on one hand the tail attack was kinda cool, on the other hand it would suck to see the nation ruined, then again they abused the heck outta the knight commander so its karma, but in counter to that elf-san isnt wrong, that would make a pretty good bit of propaganda...

Was Claire that same girl that kept Lienna from living a normal life? I mean I guess I like that she got murked and the whole country is gonna be destroyed. It just feels kind of anticlimactic. Presumable the knights that got killed were the strongest below Lienna but like if they're not that strong how could Lienna be strong or be trained to be that strong. Lienna has been swamped in paper work since becoming the commander and doesn't have time to train. How could she possibly have gotten stronger or stayed as strong as before under these circumstances?
Fairly common lapse in logic caused by a sense of normality honestly. "Why do we need this preventing thing? Thing never happens."And if the knight commander was such a strong and amazing deterrent, why the fuck would the rest of the knights badmouth her? Though judging by the boy's reaction when the elf mentioned that, seems none of them ever thought that far. Right. Further establishes the fact that they're all idiots.
I mean, she did mention that as long as she could use a sword there was little she could cut. It’s most likely that while she didn’t go to the front lines she may have accomplished a widespread impressive feat in the past. She kinda implies that had she not been sleep deprived she may have been able to fight off the dragon a littleWe are pretty clearly missing something because I don't think Lienna has appeared strong enough to warrant another nation holding off on invading. Lienna: Th-Thank you, Days off in the Dragon's Stomach™MC country, by the end of the series she tames the dragon, fights the invaders off,the country thanks her, gives her the highstest honorary title and the King asks her "what are you gonna do now?" -"Well... i am taking some Days off in the Dragon's Stomach" fade to black and a picture of her and dragon buddy (or husband I'll take either) in the future THE END![]()
I vote the dragon eats them all and they all realize they can just chill.I'm torn. on one hand the tail attack was kinda cool, on the other hand it would suck to see the nation ruined, then again they abused the heck outta the knight commander so its karma, but in counter to that elf-san isnt wrong, that would make a pretty good bit of propaganda...

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume this plot is going to lead to Lienna being rescued. The major point of this chapter is about the catharsis of people finally learning how bad she had it also has other consequences that hurts/kills a lot of unrelated people. The author already hinted that her vacation guide grew up in the stomach and wants to leave, so we'll probably see the plots converge.FAT

RIP Marzul the family man; I feel bad for mentally badmouthing him for being scruffy. Hopefully Claire survives. Tail-chan is hot. This is interesting enough, but I wonder how it ties back into Lienna's vacation without ending it.
