Ok, I think the "slow life" genre just hit its jumping-the-shark moment.

Slow life in the countryside? Boring
Slow life in another world? Maybe
Another world slow life? Nevermind, bored again...
Slow life in a dragon's stomach? Uhh, did I accidentally turn on the Mature tag? Is this someone's fetish?

tbh this is a very unique take on slow life opening

but, i will never understand why companies or big corpos will always have a position similar to this MC's
where the ones who are really good at what they do, gets pushed onto a post they are not good at, and dump massive amount of work on them, just to be blamed as scapegoat when they finally break after pressure
for one, fuck the entirety of the rest of the ppl, whats even their job? hand over papers from one place to another? some of those ppl have higher position than the scapegoat sometimes too

maybe im just projecting or that scenario hit the spot hard cuz i was in a similar position, guess what, i quitted not along ago
and man that felt good watching them fall apart, cuz i prepared thoroughly
but i cant help but imagine if i didnt prepare
id prolly be in millions of debt cuz fines and punishment, might even get thrown in jail for smth i didnt even do
and it doesn't take long for me to realize i am one of the few lucky ones who were able to make it out mostly unscathed....

anyhow, this is a long rant
but am glad MC is able to get out of a hell hole like that
bookmarked :)

Don't know about the manga but the girl in the volume cover is cute. Plus she's a knight which equals EXTRA cute.

On one hand, this potentially could be a really good and interesting read

On the other hand... I don't know if I can in good conciousness put something with this title in my reading list, and I'm someone who has something titled "Turns Out My Dick was a Cute Girl" in my reading list :pacman:

From what i've seen it's often few things combined
  • good technical people or other experts in their field, that got good and efficient at what they do
  • didn't fight/got roped into/accepted without knowing what they really do a promotion
  • became suddenly responsible for people, but are often ill suited to managing people, had no/inadequate training for that role, never learned how to properly delegate tasks/don't want to delegate anything and take too much on themselves (and often stuff that shouldn't be their job anymore)

learning how to delegate tasks IMO being the biggest factor here,

well I think it’s because she’s in a fantasy world with dragons roaming around, along with being a knight and tons of paperwork

I took the gamble that this would either be a cool and interesting story or a weird vore-fetish story. So far, it's interesting and good. Only time will tell if it gets weird and I begin bleaching my eyes. I am hopeful it stays away from damning me to such a fate.

Employees who are good at their job get promoted. However, the skills required also change as you get promoted. Companies don't always check if the employee has those new skills, or they don't think to train the employee on the new skills. Unfortunately, this means people will often get promoted just past the position they were good at into a position that they're bad at. I think jc9 has another excellent explanation of how this can happen.
