The man... the legend... the GOAT... Lon Beruk makes his appearance! Look at that magestic beast just aura farming like that. Love it. Not much to say about this chapter, just lots of combat.

Also, of course, THE BOW STRASH!! It looks as ridiculous as I hoped it would. Bro is like 360 no scope lol.

I tried to do some sound effects again this chapter... mostly because I'm kinda stuck in a position waiting for Volume 16 to release (It came out today!!) to get the clean pages (Vjump pages aren't exactly the best). But I ran out of time so there were a few that required a LOT of cleaning and I was like "fuck it" and just stuck the SFX on top of the OG SFX. Chapter 60 has all SFX properly done though!

In one of the author commentaries they actually said they did that on purpose when they introduced him. They wanted his silhouette to look like Lon.

Bearche shouldn't be too much of a surprise though - Groysan was also a giant Rhino trying to take over Crocodine, a giant alligator!

And yeah, I grew fond of Hihi by the end.

One thing interesting about him and his vessel is the whole psychic abilities thing... once his human vessel, likely a seer, dies, he wouldn't be psychic anymore... that skill wouldn't transfer to the next vessel... butthat made me think, like, what if one took over the dragon knight? In theory they could use the power of the dragon knight to its fullest extent in truly nefarious and evil ways.

Using Arrow Rain's pulled stance as a claw weapon, and then hiding the true attack with the myriad arrow, sasuga Avan-sensei, master of master

In a way, Avan is closer to the Weaponmaster class from Octopath Traveler instead of any DQ vocation, and really stood out compared to Dai's sole focus in sword and knife fighting

Wish we get to see Avan using more weapons
