I'm not saying he should flat out copy Asano Inio, but he clearly needs to step up the psychology of the doodle aliens if he wants to make them more like proper living beings with motivations and emotions the reader can understand instead making them of a vessel of hatred because their only quality is being assholes in general.

Yeah I’m not a fan of that either. I think they were drawn that way to avoid controversy but imo they should have leaned in hard into the gore making it super detailed and less cartoony. Or even if you keep the non descriptive aliens like that their organs and blood should really make a mess when murdered

The main dude calls nomamoto unlikable, and I agree with him. I don’t really wanna read about her at all. This author keeps making very weird choices like alienating the audience from its mc. But I guess mission accomplished?

I was going over the first two chapters and noticed they really changed namamoto later on. She starts out like a much more relatable and fleshed out character and devolves into this autistic cartoony denji knock off asshole we now have
