You know, I have this theory that maybe the aliens presences cause human around them to go insane. Like their pheromones is messing with the people's mind. And Nomamoto who straight up eating them had it the worst.

Maybe that's the aliens invasion plan. Pretending to be the savior while slowly causing the inhabitants there to slowly go insane.
