It's kind of funny that Lilly and Kitami are basically mirror of each other. I mean , Kitami kill aliens that don't have anything to do with his sister death either.

I fail to understand by what logic is Kitami guilty?

He never knew the details behind what happened and why was his sister killed. So all the hate Lily has toward him is unfounded. But then again, this is a guy who also shoot unarmed civilians so... yeah...

Irony that by getting his revenge he unintentionally paved the way for all the murder's in the series so far.
Because Lilly at least accepted that he was wrong. He still had Odori to kill, but decided not to follow through because he felt guilty. Comparatively, Kitami killed a bunch of people completely unrelated to Soyo, yet has the gall to act like he's the victim. Lilly killing the victims comes after him snapping from Huntaway's death.

are we finally done with the dragging on?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it was actually axed and they just ended it here with the classic "Seven" showdown ending.

Kitami "What's in the bag!? What's in the fucking bag!!?"

Then they just ignore every other plot point that was going on and we just never find out what was going on with Nomamoto... or they make it super anticlimatic like "Grats, you have space cancer from eating aliens... shouldn't have done that...":ROFLMAO:

Woah woah woah Soyo never lied to her family and like Kitami said what if Lilly's lying. Alot of this is assumptions. We don't know Kitami's backstory enough to say if he was close with his sister or not.
Honestly I would rebound to respecting this author if they had the guts to do a whole flashback scene only to rugpull it into a twist. But I don't think I've ever seen a mangaka even do that? How many times has anyone even done that in manga where an entire flashback is a fakeout?

I guess the main message this is trying to convey is something like JJK's circle of violence.
First Soyo's bullying "kills" Lally (I know thats now the case but I'm trying to explain what the author is going for)
Lilly hates humans because of this and kills Soyo, becoming a murder
Then Kitami hates aliens because of this and kills a buncha aliens, becoming a serial killer
Then Lilly sees this and escalates killing all the humans in the idol concert, kidnapping the idol and probably torturing and killing her

And now it's up to Kitami to either continue or end the circle of violence.

Then again aliens wouldn't have been hated had them not emigrated into earth in mass, accepted all those benefits at the expense of humans, caused havoc on human culture etc. Probably caused the grape, loitering, theft and violent crimes rates to skyrocket, lived a comfortable life subsidized by the human tax payers who suffer their violence and who are ignored by the authorities giving the aliens a free pass to do whatever, etc.

So I'm not feeling a lot of sympathy for Lilly and Lally but I think I understand what the author is trying to convey. I have to say this manga really raised its quality these past few chapters. The art, paneling, everything is top notch

I think the chapter's message is pretty clear, revenge and hatred is worthless. Both our guys want revenge but neither is willing to contemplate another path, in their minds the deceased sibling was the perfect angel. Lilly killed for Lally and Kitami is killing for Soyo.

They've been stewing in unresolved grief for at the very least half a decade, Kitami is more then likely going through the same thought process that Lilly went through upon witnessing his declaration of revenge for Soyo.

we need an adaptation of Blood Meridian done by like Robert Eggers or something so that a bunch of Mangaka inject it directly into their spinal columns 4 years later.
I am tired of cycle of violence slop.
