It's been pretty interesting. I just wonder though, did the author actually have this drawn out in his mind when he was just starting the manga? Or are they sort of flying by the seat of their pants?

Wow, calling me dumb because I dislike this convoluted nonsense of a story. I'm not afraid of nuance, the Promised Neverland was a good nuanced story with the same themes. Meanwhile this is just shoving the rest of the cast aside for some nonsensical ass pull that retroactively "justifies" Lily's actions.
