The alien is guilty as hell. His brother is conveniently on another planet. He even spits on the main guys profile. His inflated ego also points to being a narzistic liar.

Also from a plot point of view, will they just stop killing aliens if he is not guilty? All the 4 recurring characters are in the alien killing business. I somehow doubt that.

He doesn’t spit on the guy’s profile, member we read right to left, he holds it after he spits out what I assume is blood after the beat down he took.

everyone of their specie shown had a big ego, so that means little. so we don’t know for sure till it shows otherwise, they all look mostly the same anyway.

Well he didn't die from that single strike and could even manage to defend himself, that was more interesting to me than the twin brother argument

Inb4 that Alien is actually the culprit and he's evil too.

Come to think of it, what is he doing with Kitami's resume?
Either "What's this dude problem, he sucker punch-ed me? Can I do something to amend it?" or "How can I make his situation WORSE that he doesn't want to live?"

And here we have the first unambiguous act of kindness from an alien. If the aliens were inherently assholes, I doubt Lily♪ would have let Kitami off with just an early dismissal. Now the question is whether he's an exception to the rule or not.

Or, I just thought, his "kindness" could be an extension of his ego. He praises himself a lot.
He's clearly guilty and scheming

Ehhh, No? In the previous chapter, Nomamoto's neighbor gave her food when she helped her find out if her partner was cheating on her.

You just don't get it, we gotta let in the aliens because they work harder than us, and we need to win. They simply have a superior culture.

You could argue that was payment, rather than kindness. The alien seems pretty shameless about demanding money from her husband, though that could just be for comedic affect rather than any specific statement on her character.

Lily's leniency towards Kitami, on the other hand, is a lot more difficult to argue as having an ulterior motive. As I say, it could be more due to his ego than any goodwill, but even still.
