Because it's like the third or fourth time in a row this scenario happens and it's getting boring and yes the Lasagna is good but not everyday for 3 months.

1 - MC shows up somewhere in this country to look for information he's been authorized to look for by the authorities
2 - Local government/noble attack him with the intention to kill/permanently maim him
3 - MC gets walked all over like a doormat
4 - MC bullshit his way out of it with new power up and beat the "bad guys"
5 - Nothing of consequence happens to the bad guys
6 - "Teehee sorry MC for attacking you but the information you're looking for is in another castle teehee"
7 - Back to step 1

And we know nothing of consequence gonna happen to the Rainfords because Japanese Wizard Vin Diesel is gonna show at the last moment and put his hand on MC shoulder and tell him "Family"

You make it sound like it's 100% pure hubris, when it's probably a mix of pure hubris and complacent obliviousness brought on by the hubris. They aren't paying enough attention to what's going on in the world to know about what the Singularities are up to, even as they've been manipulating the king that the Rainfords allegedly serve.

Why would they even remotely care? Medis isn't from their nation, and Stroheim can't put their full political weight behind her because she isn't the favorite to succeed the throne. They'd piss off Calliope but she isn't the only princess of Pansylvannia either, so they'd just have to back someone else.

That's not cooking, that's reheating the SAME EXACT dish that he's been serving 10 chapters now.

WE KNOW about that damn black mist and the blessing, because the author explained it at least 10 times so far.
WE KNOW that the MC's father was powerful and he left his old family for the exact same reason.
WE KNOW that the MC is outraged and doesn't want to lose his ability to use magic, he's been like that in so many chapters so far.

The author is not "cooking" he is fucking stalling and keeps repeating the exact same things a million times because he has absolutely no idea how to progress the story.
It's not about not "curb stomping everyone" it's about blabbing on and on and on and fucking on, without giving us a shred of information we have not already gotten before in previous chapters. I've seen Mexican soap operas with less rehashed dialogues than this manga.

The author cooked with other stories and the result ended up either raw, overcooked, or bland.

We’re just at a point were we know that the fights are purposefully dragged out. Besides the author what’s stopping him from summoning leviathan and multiple dragons

Holy I had to make an account just to write how annoying this has become to read.
This started out as one of my fav mangas/manwhas, but holy how the author draws out shit in stupid ways everytime. Its wild how he continues to make the MC so dumb if you know what he has done before, its the same thing everytime. I could go on to rant forever in depth but I dont want to write a novel.

I would drop this if I wasnt so invested how the story will go. But at this pace we might get in to the forst in about a year, fak man.

The misunderstanding continues again. At least here we get some info of the curse. But still the missing link didnt yet appear. By this chapter i'm sure that Carl didnt disclose Aria's existence to them at least. Hopefully she will get mentioned eventually. Since she is the one controlling the curse once he got to the limit and the one that sealed his magic nerves. Basically, she's the guardian of Akira.
