I highly doubt Dall-young notices the complaints of his writing (e.g., overly drawn out fights, plot induced stupidity, etc.) from Western readers, so I'm curious if Japanese Korean readers just don't have the same negative reception that we do.

So far there have been a minimum of 3 chapters (aka 48 pages) where absolutely nothing has happened besides a bunch of incessant verbal diarrhea ... and all of that pointless talking instead of advancing the story tells us NOTHING that we've not already heard at least 3 times in previous chapters...
At this point I am convinced that the mangaka is stalling because the story author has no idea how to progress the narrative.

For Im Dal-Young, as is tradition. Soon he will introduce some Deus Ex-Machina that abruptly ends the series then goes on to write another bullshit story. I wish more people knew what he did to Legend of Maian that made his artist rage-quit the series.

In Summary,

Felix utterly fails to save Felicia despite being hax as fuck from the experience he got in the future.
Basically, there is some omnipotent race in the universe called Nura that oversees many planets and worlds like the one taking place in the Legend of Maian.
And the Nura deemed the world of Legend of Maian to be scrapped asap due to it being uninhabitable because of all the conflicts on the planet.
So the Nura show up at the end just after Felix finally reunites with Felicia after she gained back her memories and strikes her a fatal blow.
We find out the Legend of Maian inhabitants were just guinea pigs in a cage made by the Nura.
They pretty much nuke the entire planet with 500 foot pillars of radiative fire, killing everyone and everything.
Felicia tries to protect the planet while dying but fails to protect it so she just clings to Felix and her child.
After the entire planet is just a burning husk, the Nura arrive on the planet just to collect the burned corpse of Felix and Felicia's child because being their child, he is a combo Madrin & Blood Fines and the Nura are interested in his DNA and powers and shit.
So yeah, even in death, Felix and Felicia's child they were hopelessly trying to shield from impeding doom gets their dead child taken away from them to be dissected by the Nura and used as samples for experiments.

Typical Dal-Young stuff. That's why you never get too heavily invested into anything he does anymore. After LoM, Freezing, and Aflame Inferno you can never be sure if he's going to cut and run. He's like those trashy romance novels that get put out every 3 or 4 months by the same author.

He is Korean
His works are published commonly in both Korea and Japan, which was why they mentioned both.

Though the answer is probably more that they just don't care..... Because he has really good art, and starts with a really good premise, new suckers get pulled in....

So I'm sure he loses a lot of fans but he probably just doesn't care
