I think the princess only said that because it seems that they can't really do anything about Leaf since he is a part of the hero descendants from Panslyvania, which is why the duke from the same country/kingdom intervened for them.

But from reading the newer chapters, Akira's dad is also from Panslyvania, and it seems his grandfather is a notable figure and is seemingly being protected.

Those hero descendants are being nuisances and might be a hindrance or trouble in the future.

Well, don't forget, Pansylvania is the evil country. Combined with what he told Leaf after (about preparing a suitable stage), I kinda doubt he has peoples' best interests in mind, and whatever they set up could easily be meant to hurt people. They just didn't wanna hurt people now.

he can only summon creatures, the swords Aren't swords, they're sword shaped golrms.

to summon a fireball or smt, he'd have to summon a fire spirit in ball shape or smt, tho maybe world rules limit that?


either way, this is all highlighting the lack of creativity from the mc (so called mangaka prodigy). sure he wasntsure ifa golem could block thevattack so used a stronger summon, but like, no shields in your arsenal yet? an earth spirit would def work as some sort of shield.

He's already been proven to be able to summon inanimate objects with the elixers, so I doubt he can't do something like summoning a wall or shield that isn't needlessly padded by summoning something else and then reshaping it into that. However, his ability has had nothing to do with drawing for a long time now, despite the namesake of the series.

he doesn't summon elixers btw, he recreates their effects using svrolls, i feel that difference is worth something.

and the drawing aspect was dropped for pacing i presume, he's supposed to be drawing everything he summons in te air after all.

This was the best outcome for Akira, after he was forced to get involved with those scumbags in the first place. That was probably inevitable since they were interested in him. However, the more they underestimate him and look down on him, the better. That way they will consider him less of a danger and might even leave him alone. Unfortunately he did gain plenty of fame, so chances are they won't leave him in peace any time soon, but if they believe he has a whole lot of weaknesses, it's possible they will trust they can deal with him later one way or another, so they wouldn't sever all relations with Stromheim by getting too outrageous, such as by trying to kill Akira.
