They usually release chapters early on another website named 'mangachap'. Dunno what the deal is but for example if they release chapter 1 on the mangaeffect site, chapter 2 is already released on mangachap (they post the link as a comment on every chapter).

OK, the idea with hostages is great except one small detail - you can say that you've already discussed this with your loved ones and, if this ever happens, you agreed that you won't listen to kidnappers threats and will just try to rescue them and regardless of the outcome, you will destroy the kingdom itself, the whole nation, ground everything leaving nothing but a scorched earth behind and reassure that these who are in charge of that kidnapping won't have an easy death

Is mangaeffect/chap an aggregator site, or the site of the publisher or the site of the translation group?

If it's the groups' site, they can upload in order like the site rules of mangadex require.
If it's an aggregator site, nobody cares (because they're 2nd-choice trash).
If it's the publishers' site... well.. that's not something we should be messing with.

Mangaeffect/chap WAS your typical MTL site like UToon/Manhwafreak. They did their own (albeit shoddy) TL work. But as with many other TL groups, they simply did not choose to upload here on dex. (i.e. they wanted you to read on their site for ad revenue).
At any rate, effect/chap seems to no longer exist and their domain is now mangaread, which I think is just your typical aggregator - and I am not sure if the chapters they worked on is still floating around in the net.
