also it annoys me sometimes when they talk about how to fight.. in middle of a damned fight. there is a fine balance between cool and annoying. this just moved to annoying since it only wastes time.

It's not like the characters are actually speaking much, which is the part that really bothers me personally when it happens. It's all narration or internal monologues. And the bit of narration about swords combining offense and defense is surprisingly accurate and brings a bit of realism into a fantasy wizard manga.

Dad was conveniently out of town on business when Akira stopped in, and Akira didn't know his dad was a big deal until he got to Pansylvania.
