This whole arc is a mess. They're supposedly traveling to find a mean to cure I don't remember who, they obtain the authorization to enter a library to search for information about said cure and now... this.
The king gave Emilio an order and their goal is the resurrection of the mage king Icarus Enlil (end of chapter 136). Now, what I'd like to know is if he would kill the princess of a foreign nation and his own daughter (?) for this goal.
At first, I thought it was just a test, but then Proll lost her legs and now two people died. Does that mean the MC will become this nation's enemy by the end of this arc? Just simply the king's enemy? In fact, there's so much things to think about, I'm just lost right now.
Most of that is wrong. They are searching for the truth behind elixers so that he can learn how to make them since his previous methods dont work any more (the drawn summons burn up before materializing) and the cure is for him. hes only able to use 34% of his mana, with elixers his mana veins could be completely restored. Also they never actually got authorization to enter the library. they are literally breaking in.
my bad i had thought the red potion was the elixir. and no they dont have permission to enter. the princess doesn't have the authority to grant it. thats why they are sneaking in. no where in chapter 137 was it stated they were allowed to be inside. Most of that is wrong.
Akira had a stash of drawn elixirs from before his magic nerves were sealed in the first place. They didn't fix his nerves. Source: chapter 14.
It's not about elixirs at all, it's about the red potion that will allegedly heal Katia (source: chapter 98). It's why they're in Pansylvania in the first place (chapter 110) and why they're going into this dungeon specifically (chapter 134).
And they do have permission (chapter 137). Aside from Princess Calliope.
