Doesn't matter, too offtopic, (edit, goronyanpai original asked where I'm from) Yes, for real, the point is that I can't buy english licensed manga because I live where no publisher dares to enter and shipping anything costs me way too much to even consider it and that's why I posted Yozakura Quartet to pick up.
I frankly don't understand why some licensed series get posted here anyways but others are a big no no because they are licensed, like, why can't Yozakura Quartet get scanlated but Boku no Hero Academia can? Aren't they both english licensed? Yozakurar Quarter is licensed by Kodansha USA, but can't get scanlated, BnHA is licensed by VIZ Media, but can get scanlated, Vigilante: BnHA Illegals is also licensed by VIZ Media, but can't get scanlated. I frankly don't understand, am I too stupid? am I missing a key point of all this that makes it all make sense? Because boy, I sure hope someone can enlighten me because I'm feeling like the most retarded person on earth right now.

Where do each of my previous examples fall?
BnHA can get posted because it uses fan translations over WSJ scans?
Yozakura Quartet can't get posted because there's no group doing scanlations of Shounen Sirius?
Vigilante can't get posted because there's no group doing scanlations of Shounen Jump+/GIGA?
So, the thing is you can't use official ENGLISH sources, but if you scanlate the JAPANESE magazines they are published in is fair game?
Then, I see no problem why Yozakura Quartet, Again!! and Denkigai no Honya-san can't be posted, it's just a matter of getting the Japanese raws.
This legal loopholes are so bullshit.

I don't think you are the only one who wonders why, even I think so. Most groups reacting to the manga that has been licensed will immediately delete and drop it. But it's in different case if you have enough guts , it won't be a problem. Generally, they dare to take risks even if it has been licensed.
I'm not sure, you should ask them directly. Only that speculation has the greatest possibility.
The world of translation is difficult, because it's basically illegal.
Either way are bullshit.
Either using official English or Japanese raw are equally, they both carry risks.
There are also some cases that can be used as examples

Generally speaking, once a title has an official translation, some groups will immediately drop it (and sometimes delete all the chapters they already released), while others will continue to translate chapters that are probably well in the future for an official release, and leave their translation up. Sometimes the official translation isn't as good as the samizdat scanlation (looking at you, MonMusu).
And then there are cases where the scanlation has fizzled out before the official release, and times when the official release gets cut short (like happened to all the JManga titles).
tl;dr Anything that depends on people will sometimes be undependable.

Reason it was dropped: No clue.

It gets new chapter every month it seems.
This manga has great potential and the novel isn't half bad either.
But for some this is one of those manga's that has gone waaaaay under the radar for some reason.
Could be a legit reason why no one dont want to translate, but it should be translated.

Not sure why it's been dropped. there were a few fan attempts since Croxx-over dropped it, but no regular updates. Also, the subreddit had no mods at this time and the Discord server has been dropped.
Unfortunately, I can't translate: at best, I can do "Engrish" to English.? BUT! But I can do typesetting and clean up. There was a dual effort on chapter 80, and, while the other person had a week or more to do it, I only had 24 hours. Still, he got his uploaded within an hour of my finishing it. But I think I did a decent job for my first time. (The splash page I'd used Google translate, the rest was translated by someone that knew what they were doing) Still, I'll be happy to do typesetting and clean up for the group that chooses to pick it up. Hinamatsuri wasn't dropped tho', it's consistently slow, last release was a month ago (apart from the fact that it JUST updated today).
It currently has 15 volumes released and the scanlation is mostly up to date.
