Were the manga version do something completely original and new endings probably the fans would be happier
This is one of the few times I would agree a manga original ending would be for the best. After all, there's no way they can make it worse than the LN and WN endings can they?

Can anyone guess the anime? ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜–

No, but I'm pretty sure the tuning pegs are backwards on that violin....
Yeah, the top peg should be on the right.

so either the artist didnt know any better, or she's using a custom tuning on that violin... ๐Ÿ˜†

Or alternatively the string is still the correct pitch with a standard tuning, but the strings are an unusual gauge and thus the string length is off/odd/different.

It might be a lefty violin, but as I'm not familiar with the work, I can't speak to that.

Unfortunately that's true of about 90% of animation involving musical performance.
Come to think about it, it's not a trauma but it surely hurts to see every time they decide to add some skill (artistical or not) and the audience is as oblivious as the makers. It ranges from "tasting a broth directly while it's boiling" to more technical stuff but equally Japanese as "drawing a bow in a way you would split your spine and destroy your arm", you could call it "a form to revive a trauma".

They didn't have much idea about music, the animation was terrible in that sense.
huh? how so?
are you still talking about your lie anime? or other anime?
I'm pretty sure that anime is one of the very few anime that twosetviolin and Ray Chen approved to be mostly accurate

So the thing about redo of healer right? I genuinely believe the author could've just made a good revenge story. Like the only thing bad about the story was that literally everything was made sexual and disgusting, when it wasn't that the show was actually fun I mean it was genuinely fun to see the crazy shit that he pulled the very few times it wasn't sexual. When his village was about to be executed and he massacred all the guards? That shit was a bloodbath and genuinely fun to watch, that whole scene showed just how far gone he is, basically letting his friends get slaughtered just to have an excuse to kill more guards.

Same with the finale, the bloodbath was fun and it emphasized how much worse he had gotten from his supposedly pure self that he was before becoming a hero.

Then he gets to Norn and you're reminded why this was created. If it was just normal I'd have actually enjoyed the plot.

On a lighter note, I wish that darling in the franxx hadn't rushed their ending.
It felt like they just listed things off of a checkbox, over the top new overpowered robot form, main characters sacrifice, time skip at the end the story, insane lore drops during what you'd have assumed was the final battle, and then saying "oh they got reincarnated in the end" without explaining how tf that works or at the very least giving us more story for that reincarnation, I would've loved to see that as a spinoff or smth and it was just shoved in without any thought. I love that show don't get me wrong but there's so much they could've done with it and so much that they did do but didn't need to do.

That series is merely part of a trend that uses a lot of hentai resources in a format allowed to be sold in normal stores and is combined with one of the most popular genres (generic fantasy) to sell like hotcakes. There is no pretence of doing a good story in a product made to satisfy a certain audience, much less in Japanese industry.

And this other series is a rip-off with calculated fan service to those who wanted more meccha ecchi. They just did what the budged and writers' brains allowed, enough to make a haul later.

On a different note, yes, this is the right place for your anime trauma.

Well I didn't say that redo of healer was a good story, just that I'd have enjoyed it without the sexual stuff. Also darling in the franxx having fanservice doesn't mean anything about how good the story was, cause it was great for most of the runtime it just fell off at the end. I still don't understand why they ended it like that even if you say the writers couldn't come up with something that they thought was good and the budget was lacking, I don't see how them going way over the top was the answer to that. I'm just so mad that they did it like that.

You managed to change the meaning of every single word, what I said about Zero 02 series was that they simply made a 24 episode series that had the elements people liked about Evangelion-like series for those same fans to enjoy, even if it was the same all over. The story is a "boy meets girl" to fight together, and the end is a classic wrap-up to move to the next project (because the merchandise was going to sell like crazy).

I don't think we're on the same page rn. All I was saying about it was that there were much better and more satisfying ways to end the show, I'm not against it being inspired by Evangalion or anything

Okay, let's start from the beginning, a plagiarised story can't be a good story. Just because of that, literally everything could have been better, but it was clearly not their intention. Nothing left to add.

Then we disagree on that because mental link mech suit is like 90% of the mecha genre bro and evangalion is not the only good mecha, idc enough to argue so agree to disagree and have a good day โœŒ๐Ÿฟ

Fighting the intense urge to punch the "I can't watch cartoons because I know it isn't real" crowd. Cause, when you watch a Jurassic Park movie, you really believe that dinosaurs are trying the eat the tiny people stuck in the box, right? Dumbasses.
