Some people are gullible enough. Some people have the memory of a goldfish. And some people would love nothing more than to pay or get paid to cause trouble.

And then there’s those bunch of extremists and/or conspiracists who always think that they’re always right, and everyone else is wrong and a noob. They prolly think the nosejob lady is a govt plant to counter their movement, or that the injuries are CGI, or that she’s doing it wrong and they know the right way to handle a “fluffy bunny”.

Also, nowadays scandals rotate so fast that they only stick if there’s a persistent outrage in the community, or if big media covers it. If anything, nosejob lady is more of a funni moment so at best she’s a shitty meme IMO. Ppl will defo forget her once the media got something more juicy to talk, like a celeb scandal or the in-universe Trump did Trump things or whatever.
