Don't think so because calling open a dungeon gate not a good idea since it means ppl will have full access to their spirit powers and Rinka would know that since she was part of hero's party classic troupe would suggest its dead demon lord's kid or wife trying for vengeance

I always wonder how the mechanic of xxxx render modern weaponary useless. In this kind manga. This time, they even use nuke and it was ineffective. Like how? how it works? wether it was magic or kinetic. At the end of the day they are all just energy. Newton 3rd law should still affect everything.

The manga i alaready forgot the title of explain this by the world being on different plane of existance, making them normally unable to interfere and they can attack each other because they can manifest in each other's dimension.

I wonder if there's going to be explanation about it. Or it would be just explained by it was magic.

Often times it's not explained, they just do a blanket "it's magic" and refuse to elaborate, which is what I suspect they do here given that levels and stats haven't been mentioned yet.

Just mentioning an example where it does make sense there are a few stories I recall where guns and such weren't good because fully mechanical weapons don't properly scale with stats which means they are super powerful at level 1 but fall off in effectiveness quickly as higher level enemies have increasing defense stats.

I'm sure that MC will figure it out I mean he's talking down the demon lord so he must have a lot of power but he's not really using it yet so maybe horny = power and the more he is the more effective it is

I meant the part about rinka that you brought up as for the other stuff with them setting up the attack maybe it was a test to see how much of his power he still had if any how useful he can be for them

That's the thing you're response to my comment still doesn't make sense since I answered to the original comment that Rinka could not be the attacker because she would know that humans get their power from the dungeons so opening one would only help the humans in fighting back wich is why i suggested that the attacker was probably someone related to the dead demon lord. sorry if I wasn't more specific on the part that wasn't making sense
