There's a kind of trend that often shades of brown end up just getting the "maybe they are blond?" treatment until a coloured page shows otherwise. I think it also happens with various other haircolours (blue, green pink etc) with the only colour to get consistent shading is black hair.

Not sure half the time if its intentional or the team was just in a timecrunch and decided it wasnt worth the effort trying for a mid-shade unless its supposed to be really dark. "intentional" examples being like a flashbang scene or where the scene lighting gets really bright (lightning strike etc)

Ah, if we follow the normal manga style, black and white, they tend to switch any dark colors hairs(except for black hairs) to white color.

Light colors like pink, they may be color as slightly black depending on color tones the author used.

It also happened on Detective Conan. Always thought curly ringlet is blond until anime shows her hair color is brown.

@yuriie : just a quick word of advice, it’s super annoying to read the same thing twice, so I’d recommend you either do the double spreads or leave them as is, but not both at the same time.

@yuriie In pretty much all of your chapters when there are double-page spreads you include both the separate pages, and then the merged double width picture. It's unnecessary, and makes reading experience worse since from a reader's pov clicking next page did exactly nothing and it feels like a bug. So, please only upload one of those. I personally don't care which ones you chose, but I believe MD's guidelines say to use the merged picture.
