Welcome back to "Its Japan, gaijin". As many, many, MANY uh... "well adjusted internet users" love to point out the official age of consent is 16, as according to Articles 176 and 177 of the Penal Code (as amended in 2023).
That said, that is today in the real world, not post dungeons sprouting out of the ground and the demon lord fucking up the male/female ratios. I would assume in this universe such things might be a little different with entirely new laws dealing with the gender imbalance.
Not to mention, I'm going to go out on a limb and state uh- it seems like peoples personal opinions and views have changed dramatically on age differences.
