I think it's in the lion's nature to manipulate. It's probably just tired of working for a single master for so long, without being able to feed on him

@Sikhander Her ears are significantly rounder than other elves. Plus, in chapter 42, it's mentioned her father passed away when she was younger (likely from old age.)

Hmmm, so winged lion just give her power? That's all? I though it would do anything more than that as a Demon.

@maelstroon probably the lion got tired of Thistle's unhealthy control-freak/dictatorship-like management of the dungeon, so he wants Lauis & co. to take over instead.
still not sure whether its specifically good or bad, I still can't specify the lion's true objective.

Winged Lion was not pleased with Thistle as a Dungeon Lord because he can't control it... So that's why he want Laius or Marcille.

I'm still calling the Winged Lion a bad daemon.

All of you that are wondering if the winged lion is good or bad are playing right into the pads of his paws. DO NOT TRUST THE WINGED LION FOOLS!!!

I do think the winged lion was being truthful when he was describing the King's motivation as well as the general sentiment of his subjects. But being truthful and being good intentioned are different matters altogether.

Well this was an unnerving chapter, especially when you think of the parallels between what Thistle did and some elements of the dream the Winged Lion showed Laius... speaking of, the Winged Lion. Mm. It's kind of insidious how easily it can make itself sound well-intentioned by saying what's technically the truth, but hahahahaha.
