No. But I would absolutely do one quest for free, to save a friend's life. To her, her "friend" was worth less to her than one paycheck. That's incredibly fucked up and completely heartless.

youre not in their position or world to make a snap judgement about their character. you say this now but youre not in a position where your lack of finance could be a detriment to your literal survival. adventuring is a job. and youre mad people dont wanna work for free.

Well yeah theyre all individuals that have theyr own lives and families. Companionship is merely people doing something together but if individuals get in trouble because of the rest of the group them leaving shouldnt be surprising. Laius wants to save his sister, Marcille wants to save her dear childhood friend, the rest can only care less.

I'm a little surprised that people can't fathom that joining a party doesn't automatically make them all lifelong best friends. If they're more like coworkers for her and she's not willing to risk her life for no reward, then that's a fine choice, it's a job after all.
