So that scene where Enyo showed up and the knife suggest the person behind the mask was Dionysius was actually giving us the answer all along and wasn't just weird framing by the mangaka! :O

This part really what forced me to read the Light Novel just to know the asnwer.
Like wtf is Aura trying to convey with this word, after reading it now it all makes sense.

Dionysus is really fucked up in the head.
Good job catching onto that. The vice-captain would be aware of his plan and a willing participant, until she realized he was more screwed up at the end of her usefulness.

Now here's a question - is she still alive? Because the manga makes it seem like the flesh has stopped after it consumed everyone who wasn't in the known, it doesn't seem to be moving towards her. But I don't think we've seen her after this.

Sadly, she really died and everyone who locked up by Loki familia got consumed by the green flesh.

Aura isn't aware of what Dionysus was planning to do, only Filvis knows. Aura just only got aware of that time.

I will not spoil any longer since that's the best part imo in the LN when Dionysus explain everything, also regarding how the falna for his familia except Filvis is gone.

Uhm, im gonna have be the minority here, as a mystery fan myself, this reveal . . . wasn't really all that good, tbh. No, not just wasn't good, from a detective novel's perspective, it was terrible.
I mean, sure, the Dionysius switcheroo was actually good, since gods don't leave a corpse behind you can never know who actually died, just that somebody did, the only way to know who is dead is to look for the person missing in the city i guess, so using that to fake your own death is a great move.
But the Filvis clone no jutsu seems like a cheap parlor trick, it was so lame that i couldn't believe it was actually being used as an explanation for the big reveal.
When cinderella was pointed out, i figured that Filvis was alive, and thought that maybe she used a similar spell on somebody else and had them killed in her place, which would fit a mystery novel better (since there is an actual precedent in lilly) and was a pretty cool feint to pull, but the "hey, i have super convenient, ultra secret magic that nobody saw ever before that lets me have disposable bodies to fake my own death" was just . . . no. That was just plain bad.

and don't forget it actually gets translated regularly unlike the main story. hell when was the last time the main story got a chapter updated because i legit can't remember. i don't feel like it was any time this year but if it was, i bet it's been at least over 5 months.

edit: i just checked and it's been 3 bloody fucking years now! holy mother of fucks why is no one translating it!?
Probably fear of getting sued since there is an official English version.

But this is a magical setting, and the concept of magic being able to create living parts that aren't just illusions and also function as real sensory organs had already been introduced in the story quite early on. Filvis' is just an extension of that power, it is not an ass pull.

And adventurers holding back on showing their full repertoire even to allied Familias is also a common practice established and reinforced regularly in the stories - Ishtar hid the fact they had a level booster, and now so does Hestia for example -, both for the sake of the individual and the Familia as a whole. As a level 3, she had shown she had 2 spells, so it isn't out of the question that she has a 3rd one in secret.

The pieces do all fit with each other. It's not a cheap parlor trick, and from what I have read on the wiki trying to remember Filvis' current level (and accidentally spoiled myself), there will be explanations for why she can create the clones.

You know back in the beginning when Dionysius and Demeter were introduce in this series, they stand out to be suspiciously evil to the readers. Later on no, not at all until Dionysius faked his death, and finding out he is Envoy. Well play Oomori.

well, looks like it was dropped from being translated because of getting an Official translation. Of which, on other sites, you can see has been scanned and posted upto chapter 40 (as of now).

I personally haven't seen anywhere else that has those chapters but I must ask how they have chapter 40 when the official raws only have 37? also may I get the site where you found that continuation please.
