I think what they are trying to say is that he his main reason for doing so was because the sword was a (half) pretty girl and that otherwise he likely wouldn’t have killed himself. I don’t think they’re really questioning the strength of the relationship (for example, he could have a strong relationship with someone and still move on with his life). Though it doesn’t help that all his motivations come from pretty women - there’s naturally a correlation between the strength of the relationship and him killing himself but so far he hasn’t done so for any guys…. But you do make a point tooThis guy have been with the sword through possible millenials at this point. Remember that we don't have an exact count of how many reset that he had been through. Pretty resonable reaction to a person that is like the only friend that u have in life killing themselves
Well to be frank, the story was pretty dumb since the beginning, so no difference here.I choose to believe the story ended the chapter before. I actually already read the WN and it becomes dumb meandering shit after this.
He got his revenge. So now he throws it away so that he could save the puppet sword. You know, the puppet sword, the thing that betrayed him every single time before this. I think it's supposed to be easier to accept he would go through everything again just because it took on a female form? She's pretty, so of course the main character is going to try to save the pretty girl? Fuck that, the puppet sword is not worth saving
