man...why does it feel we have 0 progression, 22 chapters in and i feel we didnt move forward, i believe author wanted to give re:zero feels for this story but at least re:zero knew how to keep moving forward, in here we are still waking up at the same 0 point of the story

I made an account just to say how fucking much I love this. Its weird to say, but this is a breath if fresh air. Its not the typical op from the start trope and i can't predict what's going to happen next! Keep up the amazing work I look forward to future chapters!

Anyone got recommendations for manga with yandere in fantasy?
Gate. it has the whole trinity of female stereotypes. yandere, kuudere and tsundere.
Re-zero is this, but better written. bar being set at ground level, it's not hard to beat.

i went through this slop expecting something, but...

it's the usual blue balls revenge manga, if the character tries to be nice he eventually gets a naked chick on his lap but then gets cucked back to the beginning by the author.

  • the "respawn" mechanic randomly changes, whenever the plot finds it convenient. it's a goddamn CENTER POINT of reset stories, you have to have consistency...or consequences. there's one, but it's not explored, more like exploited and abused, then explored into the one thing that kept me interested to continue.
  • the "hero"/curse girl also changes, early on, then goes locked into a full tilt psycho curse who breaches her confinement, whenever the plot finds it convenient..
  • the vampire behaviour also randomly changes, whenever the plot finds it convenient.
  • each time the MC gets to experience love, his loved one is defiled (one is raped and murdered, one hangs herself because she's psychotic, one gets beheaded then stomped to death... i think we have a pattern.
The MC finally gets out of the dungeon™ with the sentient sword™ after escaping the tsundere vampire™ and slaughters an entire town as a revenge™... so we dont get the hero curse. Instead, when the sword finally becomes "humanoid", she's humiliated by her hybrid appearance and gets final destination'd out of the picture, because someone had his dick tied to a goddamn reset the scenario button from the beginning and got hard.
fuck this shit.
fuck off you goddamn cuck fetish prick.

The sword killing herself just because her body is't perfect yet wasn't a wise choice for the plot. It doesn't make any sense.

I mean this does check all the boxes of what a manga is supposed to be.

But it's still a web novel in disguise.

What we have here is the manga equivalent of three midgets in a trench coat.

Just caught up to Chapter 23... This is a new experience for me.

I've read a bunch of "tragedy" manga before so it's nothing new to have my soul dragged for 20 chapters and then feel like absolute shit after catching up. But the time loop aspect is really throwing me off. I'm hit with a waves of feels, and then viciously—violently ripped back to a place that has erased all those consequences. I genuinely don't know how to feel. Made even worse by the fact that I can feel something REALLY big coming...

I don't know what it is, or how it will materialize but I get the feeling that either there's something horrifically wrong with the Save/Reset power or that the Hero (I forgot her name) is about to do something really bad. Worse than what we've seen thus far, which is saying a lot. XDXD

Honestly, how many times can one dude go through so much heartbreak? First he lost the childhood friend, then he lost the hero, then the vampire, now even the fucking sword!? (although the moment it was revealed that the sword was a woman, I saw it coming from a goddamn mile away). I have no idea where they're going to go with this, but I'm very interested. I'm equally scared shitless...

As it stands, solid 8/10—but if it goes in the direction I think it's going to go, then might be the first 10/10 rating I've ever made.

Saw the first half of chapter 24 and uh... When people said Ageha has a split personality like in the novel, they didn't mean there's literally two of them with two different personalities, right?! Like what????
