I'm more partial to chocolate rather than strawberry myself. I've just never really been a fan of most strawberry flavoured foods.

The way her jealousy was handled is interesting, seems to be female written
Invalidated from internal or external factors (inside or outside circle of influence), her being married, older, and with a kid are all external factors, she couldn't have controlled those, internal could've been him reassuring (or her asking him to reassure her) or her doubting her own jealousy (self control/management)
Jealousy being a given, lessening relying on external factors, looking for reasons to not be jealous (to invalidate), instead of not letting yourself be in the first place, all very feminine
I did enjoy the jealousy though, it was funny, just wish it was handled in a more controlled way, what if she wasn't married, older, had a kid, then jealousy would still stand?
With a more controlled way, like asking him, or checking herself, then it wouldn't matter what type of person he ran into (this was kind of done with him mentioning he's strong to see her, so the context details of being married, older, kids, all were kind of over the top, felt like there's "too many" reasons to not be jealous it was really really for nothing)(Though him saying that about being strong, it isn't completely in her control, it's like the least internal, almost external factor)
Male authors usually have it be internal, female external
Internal is usually more intriguing, how is jealousy handled (it can get into the ugly: well she isn't as pretty, cruel, but it does lessen jealousy, thinking the competition as lower)(Thinking competition as lower isn't invalidating, they're still competition, considered, invalidation would be to find reasons to not consider, like they're dead or something)
External is usually left up to contrivances, like this story, married, older, kid... 3, wow
