As long as they get actual character development, yeah. There's a lot of titles that keep reverting characterization to preserve the initial dynamic and it's awful.
Tales of Wedding Rings is one of the most painful examples of this, considering its art and world building are phenomenal, but the plot literally depends on a main relationship that keeps getting its reset button forcefully hit by the author.
The author even introduces a character that breaks the story as a result of issues caused by this constant relationship reset. Literally, the inciting event for the main character was rendered meaningless and a plot hole, as both he and his childhood love could now exclude themselves and not be part of the plot at all from the beginning... and would have removed themselves if not for the author forcing it.
And while I could say this story is a bit slow, it's not reverting any characterization so far. Hopefully it never does. I would love to see this series not shy away from the characters getting together in order to extend it, but instead do what few others do, and show off what dungeon and adventurer life is like as fiancées, and then as a married couple.
