Just get a script-blocker. For example, the NoScript extension for Firefox. Activate it before visiting a shady website. It blocks ALL scripts by default, and then you can temporarily turn each one on until you've got just enough functionality to use the website the way you want without all that extra stuff that shoves ads in your face to the point of slowing your computer down. Even if you click on the wrong thing and a pop-up does make it through, the pop-up's scripts will be disabled by default, too.

Or use the Brave browser. It even blocks YouTube ads out of the box.

Spoiler: Small Training Tangent

I really hate "training" in mangas and animes. I know its just a quick plot device to explain why a character is so strong and that hard work pays off. Normally, I can accept this for the sake of the story, but mangas/animes tend to go overboard with their "training" and how stupidly strong it makes characters.

The Goblin's son is the good example of this, he became the size of an orc because he did some unspecified training in other dungeons. He's just a one off character, but he's training reminds me of Van's training and the how it made him one of the strongest people in the world. It's really bs when I think about it and I can't get it out of my mind.
