I mean, "cub" means exactly the same thing in this context (and it's cuter so I certainly don't mind), and "spirit vessel" is a perfectly adequate description for a phylactery, indeed possibly less confusing for a chunk of readers who've never heard of a "phylactery"...
...But, "Richie". XD
