I think whoever does the Translation reposts the chapter with a better one. A few were a bit rough but resetting so hard feels weird.

This is a much better translation than the previous one. I remember in the part where they were talking about the stew they called it "chicken carcass stew" which is probably an awkward direct translation of what they called it.

Not the same translator reposting. Another group sniped those two chapters, it's a common ocurrence with many other manga when the usual groups take longer and snipers taking advantage of readers starved of new releases uploading some piss-poor work frequently adding some credit page and asking for donations if ppl want them to continue feeding them more crap. Mascarada who's been the one doing the usual high quality scanlation is taking longer because they wait for the Tankobon scans. It seems Mangadex mods, admins or someone are doing some effort, but not always, to delete those crap releases by snipers if they're replaced by the high-quality releases by the usual groups.

eh~ I would say that it is when there is a backlog larger than 1 chapter, and tl is not still on a fixed schedule catching up with raws from having started jsut recently (or the manga having had hundreds of chapters, I guess).

In other words, even if it's been 3 months, if the translations were caught up and the next chapter came out yesterday or somesuch I would still argue that giving it a few days would make sense.
That said, that was clearly not the case in this case. Just felt you both said a much too large timespan, and missed some edge-cases, so felt like being pedantic

I can imagine that will cause problems down the line though.

I believe that's for releases done by groups who explicitly state that they don't want their work on Mangadex. Mangadex abides by their wishes, but once the group is confirmed dead for at least half a year their work can be uploaded.

There's no written rule on sniping but it's generally frowned upon by the community, especially when it's done by opportunists.
