Could someone explain why the MC left the female MC near the end of chapter 6 raws? Did they arrive at her destination? Or, was it just a temporary separation?

They just split up temporarily to do some errands and then planned to meet up in a bit. That timing was just really unfortunate... And the newest chapter didn't make me feel any better either orz. Now I regret having to wait so long for the next chapter

Poor girl, she was 16 when she was abducted and then spent 2 years being talked down by others plus being manipulated by that poor excuse of a human gran. No wonder her confidence is in shambles

I actually do think it was a little weird that Kaido didn't want her to go in and save anyone, considering he seems to have a fair amount of faith in her ability. (I mean she did save his life and everything.) After spending so much time traveling with her and hyping her up when she talks about her old party, I feel like him saying that if she couldn't save them all it would be better to just not go was ooc. Kinda seemed like the author just wanted her to have a "I'm a healer so I'll have confidence in what I can do" moment or something.

If he had just warned her that she might not be able to save everyone and that she might feel responsible if she can't, that would have been more in character imo. Not telling her she can't.

@areticentreader not just the burden of possible having someone die on her watch, but there was a possibility of an agitated villager lashing out to hurt her, also like what happened, it seemed he has fought it before and knew the monster would target the group of people

I know the concept of triage didn't exist until 1853 our timeline, but it hurts to see this line of thinking.

@Chrona didn't you misread that? It was confusing since it was worded oddly but it actually has the opposite meaning.

Also, she could have just thrown a medicine with strong paralytic effects or poison into the monster to kill it instead of having to be save but whatevs (-`~'-)
