Yeah I am also really confused. Since when did they start being event organizers? And since when did they have in-house ai-glasses? And why are they ok selling it as their large gimmick if they fear questions about how it works in the intended environment? And besides that, didn't seller kun say their entire purpose was to avoid walking a lot? How does it help you avoid walking a lot if all it does is pull up some extra contextual info? You will still need to walk the entire floor to visit all the booths...So they're selling a AR glasses for usage in events... and it can't handle large numbers of people?
Are we sure this is Japan and not northern California? lol
Also, where did this whole thing came from? I thought they were a cram programming school, not an AR/AI lab.
In Chapter 5, Kenta explains that their core business attempt is to launch a large scale event targeting Software Engineers, aiming for about 2,000 customers across 3 days. The Programmer Cram School is to drum up business and reputation in order to make the event happen and be a success.Has there been a translational issue or something and the cram school is just one part of their company? Very weird train of events.
Given they are asking 50,000 Yen per person, and AR glasses cost around 30,000 Yen at the lowest end, My assumption is that they are just supplying the software and intend to buy the AR glasses for the event. If they mostly get returned afterwards, then it's a large one time investment.I'm surprised that their startup even has the budget to develop AR glasses. Maybe it makes sense they have a couple of demo units and asking companies to invest so they can move to mass production later.
ok here is my take:Yeah I am also really confused. Since when did they start being event organizers? And since when did they have in-house ai-glasses? Does not sound like what they explained though.ok here is my take:
the "event" they are organizing is part of their programming cram school portfolio. so except of solo-consultations, they want to offer an event where they convey their knowledge to a bunch of people all at once. that is the "event" in question. also makes sense with the contracts worth 50k participation fee per person that they were selling.
You can use a map for that already. Or more exactly, you do use maps for that already. And besides that: no, you absolutely must check every booth either way!and the point of the glasses is to easily navigate a big venue without getting lost. if the glasses show you where what is, you won't have to run to every booth and check out if it's relevant to you or not.
That would work, but really wasn't the vibes I got from it in terms of phrasing, grammar etc. Particularly because chapter ended there, and if it was just a minor thing like "I'll let our engineer answer that" type of answer.and lastly, i think why ai thinks that "the situation is bad" is that the guy from the company they wanna sell a contract to is asking a tech question - and as we learned in the previous chapter, ryou did not understand anything regarding how sumamega works. so she will have to be the one to answer his question... and as she mentioned earlier in the chapter, she is socially awkward and very bad at this stuff. so "this situation is really bad" because she will have to take over again now and ryou cant help since he doesnt understand the technical part.
well, we'll see next chapter what the actual deal is, i'm just guessing.
