That's me, I'm that customer. Being told everything is solved by AI would piss me off to no end.

On a basic level, the glasses haven't yet beaten the QR code IDs and electronic business cards. In the first place, that peripheral is better suited for fixed exhibits rather than people. All those compensatory algorithms are more impressive as they are than their practical use for this scenario. That might be what the customer is paying for.

OK, I guess that's what she was working on during nights. I did think it was odd to do programming work for the night school thing (and also odd to make your hired programming genius give classes to newbies).
This manga doesn't really establish this properly IMO, though. It feels very rushed to go from 'we teach people' to 'actually we make high-tech glasses' with zero exposition.

Come to think of it, there are a lot of programming languages in this world but all the basics are actually the same.

It’s about setting up the rules and condition that if fulfilled will do what you asks the program to do.

I definitely welcome the challenge of someone being the first human to actually program in Malbolge.

This just plays out exactly like the Rabbit R1 lmao. I already knew that the technology isn't this manga's great strengths nor is its main focus but rather the interpersonal relationships of each character which makes this a great and relaxing slice of life.
The actual device aside, what the client said was just absolute perfection. It perfectly shows a divide between engineers and salespersons. The sales guy had absolute confidence throwing promises and big words but when faced with someone who knows about technology is where their facade falls apart and it's up to the engineer to help bridge that gap. As for the engineers, they don't really do sales talk all that well and have a hard time communicating with clients. Its where the salespeople bridge that gap with them. The ending of this arc is just icing on the cake.

This sure feels... awkward, especially when they treat the "ai glasses" as something that will rock the technology while Google Glasses failed so bad.

what purpose do those glasses actually serve that a flyer or qr code cant provide?
the only ppl who get hyped up over inefficient and invasive tech are ppl who dont work in IT\engineering.

The more I learn to have healthy boundaries myself the less I can stand jerks like Ryou and plotlines that frame them as endearing once you see past their prickly exterior. A harsh backstory, an awkward thanks, and a panel of them laughing together doesn't change the fact that he's a jerk insulting her even when he's thanking her. What happend to the Ai that was tired of being talked down to and verbally abused at work? I'll give it a few more chapters, but ngl this kinda put me off reading any more...
