One of the most brilliant, yet baffling stories I've ever read. At times, it's an incredible sci-fi which touches on some very existential questions, as well as socio-political issues that you really don't see explored in manga. On the other hand, it's filled with some truly bizarre writing decisions and dumb humor, and lots of (imo) unnecessary gratuitous sex. I feel like most of, if not all of those scenes could have been scrapped and the story wouldn't have changed much. I also wasn't a fan of the final arc, I felt certain characters got pushed to the side and that the messages the author was trying to convey simply weren't done very well. The last chapter was pretty memorable, however.
Overall, I will give this an 8/10. It could definitely have been so much better, but it is what it is.
