They mentioned earlier that the reason they couldn't just transfer Valkyrie's memories into another body to bring her back was because there was no way to transfer the emotions attached to those memories, essentially meaning that the new body would be a brand new person with someone else's memories inside it. My theory is that this is what happened to Ziggy. Someone repaired his body and essentially made a new robot that had all the memories of the original, but with none of the emotions attached to it.

Not sure if it is the way new Erza is drawn but she looks a bit different than her last appearance. Wonder if her design has been touched up a bit to make her still look similar but be a bit more identifiable like her own character in the same way the others have been.

@fireplace67 That's a good point there. I had been considering he was infected by something in his journey that led to him disbanding but this idea makes more sense. He probably saw a ton of stuff on his journey that shaped him bit by bit but when seen as mere memories, out of context with the emotions felt along the journey, he must have been reached a different conclusion.
